Regarding all the issues with upgrading past 2.81 and the issue that even after you do the upgrade it still shows as needing to be upgraded. I wanted to let everyone know that I struggled with this for practically a month. Finally, I just backed up the db and my content, deleted everything including the web space for the site itself, reinstalled the 2.84 version and BP1.03. I put my content back in and now everything works beautifully (except the crop box is messed up). While I am a newbie and no programmer at all, my back up and reinstall took all of about 30 minutes as compared to the nearly month of frustration. If you find yourself in the same trap, you may find that just doing a complete reinstall is the fastest route to go. For what ever its worth. cheers everyone and thanks Andy-you are a god! Been told should tell the development team about this problem that needs fixing.
