    I’ve installed the Wordpress version 3.3.1 and version 1.5.3.1 Buddy Press, BP album 0.1.8.11 and the comment function does not work. It is always: “Comments are disabled for this picture. Edit the picture to enable them”!!! Comments are the settings in the plugin, and otherwise enabled as well. Is there a solution? Comments are very important for the pictures..

    Thank u

    @Dalee83

    Well, as the plugin says: “Edit the picture to enable them” (note the “enable comments” box at the bottom of the picture editing screen).

    Hello,

    @foxly

    Comments are enabled everywhere. In the plugin options, and also in the picture just below the picture options. If the problem occurred before? Is this a bug which you know anything?

    Thx

    @Dalee83

    If :

    1) comments are enabled in the picture options
    2) and the user clicks save

    then

    3) other logged-in users on the site should be able to comment on the picture.

    If this is not the case, something isn’t working properly.

    @Dalee83

    Comments are working correctly on my workstation.

    WP 3.3.1, BP 1.5.3.1, BP-Album 0.1.8.11

    Note that if you’re using a “3rd party” theme, 100% of them broke with BP 1.5, and at least half of them are still broken. Broken themes cause all sorts of frustrating errors.

    What i think Dalee83 has misunderstood is that you have to click on Save on the page that shows up AFTER you’ve uploaded a picture in order to save its settings. This page looks like a confirmation-page and can fool you into thinking that all settings that exist on it already have been saved.
