BuddyPress

We released version 0.1.8.7 of the plugin to the WordPress SVN today. This new plugin release reflects countless hours of work, both from our development team and the user community. It fixes ALL KNOWN BUGS and adds the ability to SHOW ALL PUBLIC MEDIA ITEMS on ANY page, ANYWHERE on your site.

Looks great – just playing around with the new version with the latest buddypress 1.2.7 and wp 3.0.4

One question: in my install there are no options for the flash uploader? (at least I don’t see ‘em). Hints?

Dear sirs I translate the latest version of the file (bp-album-0.1.8.6-2010-12-18.po) for the Portuguese of Brazil. I would like to contribute but do not know how to upload to the project. Another issue rename the file as bp-album-pt-BR.mo and the file bp-album-pt-BR.po put in the folder but still does not work. Would anyone know how I can fix it?

Guess I’ll have to start working on my translation again. ^^

Version 0.1.9 is going to be a *lot* of work …almost 30 times more text than the 0.1.8 versions …so you guys are going to be busy for a while

@ehegwer – Version 0.1.8.7 doesn’t have a flash uploader. That capability starts with version 0.1.9.

Hey there- how can I download and start testing out 0.1.9?

I went to the nightly build page but it seems it hasn’t been updated in a month and and that 0.1.8.7 is newer than any that are up there..

I really would like to test out the tagging feature as well as the flash uploader. I have a site that is very photo intensive and would love to help test out on my dev site…

please let me know!!!

We only update the nightly builds when we have a functional version that non-technical users can play with without screwing-up their wordpress install. We’ll probably post another build in the next couple of weeks …we’re doing some fairly heavy editing at the moment.
