      You need to re-install BuddyPress to get back the groups feature that you deleted. This plug in builds on that feature; it does not replace it.

    Hi Great work so far! It is what buddypress needed. I have a few feature requests. - Can we have the option to rename Member Groups to Sub Groups? or to something that may not be confusing. - when i go to domain.com/groups/ it displays all the groups in a flat alphabetical order. Can we have the option to display by hierachy? Cheers Johnny

    I installed the plugin and I thought I would find a settings section in the admin panel. There was one, later I learned that the author has declared that admin option is not available.       Thanks for your interest. Groups that have subgroups will have a “Member Groups” tab on group page. If you have a group that has sub groups, but that is NOT showing this tab, let me know and we can troubleshoot.

      Having groups selectable from a user’s profile is way out of the scope of this plugin, so that will probably not happen. However,…[Read more]

        Thanks again s for this useful plugin. I have tested the ”Member Groups” feature and it shows when I select a group that has sub groups. However, when I click the ”Member Groups” tab, NOTHING is displayed!!

        I noticed that is I create the group and gave a name that included arabic characters, the “Member Groups” tab does not function properly.
        Another thing I noticed is while creating the group using the wizard, the plugin stops at step 2 and displays the following message in an empty page; when I click next:

        After few tests in turns out the ”Member Groups” functions properly.
        The group creation wizard still has issues and stops at step 2. However the group gets to be created.
        Avatar uploading does not display the croping rectangle (I am not sure if this related to this, need to do more tests)

      I installed on WP 3.1, Multisite – YES. BP 1.2.5.2 .I used the WP module installation method, rather than downloading and uploading the files.
      I set up one subgroup. That subgroup was displayed in the same level as its parent. and clicking on any of the groups leads one to the home page rather than to the group. Thus installation apparently…[Read more]
