BuddyPress

BP 1.5 installed on multisite. Group Blog looks awesome. I create a group blog but when I click on the “blog” link from the groups home page it takes me to a subdirectory for the blog that isn’t linked to anything. I have the settings in the Group Blog plugin redirect tab to “page template title” and have given it an arbitrary name of “blog1″ It would seem the redirect function isn’t locating the theme’s page template and redirecting to it.

Anyone know what may be wrong? I’ve tried using the default Buddypress theme and the Twenty Ten theme – it doesn’t seem to make a difference. Help!

I think what you’re looking for is on Dashboard > Network Admin > BuddyPress > Groupblog Setup > Redirect. Change the first setting (“Redirect Enabled to:”) to “Home Page”

Thanks for the quick reply! But no…I get the same issue changing it to the home page. It then takes me directly to the blog page “sports.myblog.com” which still gives me a “server not found”

First off….thanks for this great plugin. I’m have difficulties understand how it to theme it.

I think we are looking for some documentation on theming the groupblogs template page, that is created in the admin page. I’m not sure what this page should contain…what exactly am I theming….every groupblog homepage or content pages?

Hi @apeatling! I have a question about groupblogs…great plugin by the way, but I’m confused on how to use the Page Template in the admin redirect. Could you explain what is going on here….I’d love to buy you a cup of coffee for your time!
