    Please post here all features you want to have in BP GTM System. I will create a list and you will see the progress of impementing them.
    So currently:
    1) file attachments for tasks/projects descriptions and discussion posts;
    2) js alert if required data on projects/tasks creation/editing screens is not inputed;
    3) allow group/site admins to open projects/tasks view for logged off users on per-group basis; you will also have a chance to hide some specific projects/tasks from viewing by them
    4) tasks priorities – trivial, normal, high, critical
    5) get rid of that large number of js in the header – only 1 js file.

    2) Should it be the default action for some user role?

    Yes, default action.

    Thanks a bunch!

    I’d suggest an alert that blocks project creation when there are no categories yet.
    Otherwise people write a lot of stuff into their first project form, then click the categories link and all entered data is lost.

    Got it, will be implemented.

    @gunju2221
    Still thinking whether it will be useful.

    Got a great idea! The lightbulb went off in my head.

    I use GTM for like an issue bin on my website, and such a feature like on Buddypress Trac, the issue level, (normal, high, or critical) levels would be great for GTM.

    GTM is great! We’re using it for a private project management site. I’d love a group calendar that could appear in my sidebar- showing upcoming task deadlines. Also, maybe a way to send email reminders of task assignments close to their deadlines?

    @fancybutcher
    That may be 1.2 features. But thank you – I will definitely implement this.

    I’m afraid I didn’t understand what you meant.

    I’d love two things:

    1 – a way to put in the time a task took to be completed. So when someone closes a task they have to also put in how many hours or minutes it took to complete the task.

    2 – a timeline/roadmap where it counts down in percentage how much to go until the project is completed. This would be based on tasks. So 10 tasks (for an example) would be 100% and as the tasks get closed the percentage goes up or adjusts the percentage if more tasks get added. Basically all the tasks in total would count to the total 100% and the closed tasks vs open tasks ratio would calculate the percentage to project completion.

    little ideas

    1) roles per project set by project creator. Therefore when selecting responsible, also select role. So that all in the group with discussion rights , can’t discuss in projects they are not responsible for. Nor all in group with editing rights can edit any project they aren’t responsible for and ect.(Super admin still determines what roles mean)
    2) only members of groups that are permitted to use GTM should have “assignments” tab under account. Currently, enabling “display for each user his personal Assignments page ” gives any member of the site an assignments tab. Simply turning it off makes it hard to be notified.
    3) Super Admin option to allow reply’s to “notification entry in activity feed for newly created tasks and projects” to be only seen by project creator (user sees his own reply of course). This creates a sort of a private applicant system.
    4) Super Admin backend stats of total # completed projects / total projects started.

    The ability to have a task assigned to no one and allow people to accept the task with a push of a button.

    @dancole – got it, thanks.
