I have a little problem. I have searched this topic, but can’t seem to find anyone with the same problem as me.
I am using BP 1.5 and the latest version of this plugin.
I have a number of users. I set everyone to “no-email” for email status. I went into a group for my own account and set the email status for that particular group to “daily digest”.
When someone posts something, or uploads a new document, I am getting an email. (Every time). I am getting dozens of emails a day. EVERY USER is getting dozens of emails a day. This is a major problem for my site. I have tried to disable this plugin — doesn’t help. I upgraded from BP 1.2.? to 1.5 …. didn’t help. Everyone is still getting barraged with emails. I can’t make it stop.
Now, when I go to a user’s email notification settings (as admin …. in the front-end), there are radio-boxes for email notifications. The two lines concerning notifications for when a user uploads a new document to the group (the most important ones) are blank. If I click “No” and hit save, it says the settings have been saved, but it goes back to blank (“no” is not checked off) and the user continues to get the emails.
Does anyone know how to make it stop??
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I think they’re going to burn me here if I can’t find a solution to this.
