Is there a way to make the links page the home page?

I check out that post, but i am having trouble implementing it because it won’t recongize links/index.php in

i don’t think links/index.php is the right directory for bp-links, would anyone know the correct one that will display the links directory in the front page?

If anyone figures this out and needs some changes to Links to make it work, please LMK.

I got the links to show up on a custom page but the formatting is all screwed up and the share button seems to be broken. I think it is not loading the css file for the links or the added javascripts. How would I go about updating it so that it works properly?

I followed the instructions in the post above, this is what my custom template page looked like. I had to copy over the bp-links-default directory over to my-buddypress theme.
