@mistercyril am just discovering this myself, but it looks like it allows you to make different extended fields (or groups) available to different kinds of users. pretty cool! though not what i was looking for…

so that if, for example, you want to ask an admin what his favorite color is, but not a contributor, you can!

I installed the plugin
However after I access the plugin role assignment section
The Role column is appearing empty
Also the xprofile group does not show the new groups i created

Please install the latest version (0.16) and see if it resolves the your problem.

Hi there all – I’ve installed this excellent plugin and have it working for different role types but the additional profile group field info is not displaying in a user’s public profile to other users/members. The user him/herself can see his/her own extended profile data, but nobody else can.
