Need to know which path to go down. I am starting a new site using Buddypress. I love the current Buddypress.org theme but can’t seem to find it anywhere. Specifically the global search, followers/following, sub-nav for Activity, Groups, members, Location, Stats, Following – widgets. Is this all custom? Should I just take the default BP theme that i got with 1.2 and start making the changes to be like BP.org theme? I don’t mind coding and changing the template but I don’t want to do it if these components are somewhere or coming out very soon. Just need to be pointed which way to go.

    Thanks in advance

The theme for BP.org is not available. Andy created it specifically for this site. Here’s an old thread when BP.org had a different theme that explains Andy’s philosophy on this matter: http://buddypress.org/community/groups/how-to-and-troubleshooting/forum/topic/the-theme-for-this-site/

@rgauny, the BuddyPress.org theme is a custom child theme of 1.2 bp-default theme by Andy Peatling. As for other components and subnavs, you can already get most of them by just enabling such after you activate BuddyPress and creating a BP child theme or using a regular WP theme and installing BP Template Pack plugin. There are features in this site which might be released soon.

edit- oops @jeffsayre I took too long to answer :-)
