    Hi Guys,

Sorry if this is an easy one. I’ve googled for hours and hours but have had no luck.

I have a buddypress site that i want to have three different user types on. On the first registration page, there should be a few generic fields such as username, email and password. Then there should be an option at the bottom to be one of the three user types that i mentioned before.

Once registration has been completed, the user should then be directed to their profile page with the options to complete more fields, which are visible to anyone viewing the profile.

These additional profile fields should be unique, dependant on which of the three user types were chosen on the original registration page.

I have tried using the in built ‘profile fields’ options and various ‘role’ and ‘user type’ plugins but i cannot get anything to work.

Any help is hugely hugely appreciated.

    Thank you guys.

    Hi Chris,

Thats great and reallyy helpful, however when i impliment it, the users are able to view and edit all type of profile once logged in, even if it doesnt belong to them. Is there a way for any other irrelevant profiles to be hidden once logged in?
