BuddyPress

All of a sudden, my avatar image is not displaying for Buddypress. I wanted to change my avatar, so I uploaded a new one and it said it was successful – even took me to the cropping stage. But, even though it was successfully uploaded, the image isn’t there. Instead, just the Avatar title displays on top of a white image. This seems to indicate that the image is not being recalled.

So, I right-clicked on the avatar image and got this URL as the image URL:

Now sure how the heck that got there. It leads to no where. Any ideas?

The URL should be something like this:

http://ricardacademy.info/members/angelicahenrycenteno/

Except now, that image is broken, too.

Most of them work, like this profile:

http://ricardacademy.info/members/abigailferguson/

So, not sure what is going on. I have no clue.

You really need to supply more information about your BP installation.

In the meantime, did you try to upload an avatar again using a different browser?

I currently have WP 3.0.1 installed and I am using the default Buddypress Theme. I also have Buddypress version 1.2.5.2 installed.

It is weird because it shows my avatar when I make a comment on one of my other blogs on the site network, but it won’t show that avatar on the main site (where I have BP installed) in the “recently online” list or anywhere on the main site/buddpress install.
