BuddyPress

Hi all, i’ve being uploading avatar images using buddypress and i’ve noticed quite a degrade in quality … can someone point me in the direction of where I can increase the settings – i’m guessing it maybe a wordpress issue? and i’m guessing its using jpeg compression? anyway any help pointing to where i can locate this, even if its just the files that i can look at editing

Maybe you are uploading an image which dimensionally smaller and then it gets stretched to fit the profile photo space/size? Try to upload larger picture say 200px x 200px

no my images are 800 x 600 …. it looks like a compresion issue… i’ll look into it

must be somewhere in buddypress or wordpress which indicates the compression settings
