    Hi,

I upgraded BuddyPress from 1.1 to 1.2.3. After upgrade I see only blank pages. I tired both manual and automatic upgrade as per instructions from http://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/upgrading-from-10x/ but result is same.

    WPMU version: 2.9.2
    Base buddypress installation dir: mydomain.com/blogs

All pages including mydomain.com/blogs, mydomain.com/blogs/members, mydomain.com/blogs/groups etc. are showing blank page.

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Kailas

Did you delete the old theme files (bp-default and bp-sn-parent) from the directory?

Did you have any other BP-plugins installed and activated?

@Jeff: Thanks for the help. I deactivated all plugins, upgraded BuddyPress, and reactivated plugins. It’s working fine now.

BTW, I am trying to setup my BuddyPress home page using Appearance->Widgets but I do see only Sidebar to play with. How do I put stuff on the main page?

    Thanks

    Kailas,
You can change the main page under Settings–>Reading Then choose “static page” and select the page from the drop down that you want to be the home page. You might need to create a page you want to be the home page first.

If you don’t want a home page, then you’ll need to create your own theme. This page will get you started: https://codex.buddypress.org/how-to-guides/building-a-buddypress-child-theme/ but will require some knowledge of coding.
