I was stuck and am still stuck with the same problem, which I could not ID what went wrong.
I installed WP 3.1.3 on my hostgator VPS, and install buddypress 1.2.8 onto it, then went to do the click installation of bbpress. It said successful.
I checked the bb-config.php and wp-config.php’s db, user and pasword matches.
On http://commandoclub.net/groups/3rd-coy-1998-2001/ you can see the forum tab, but if it click on it http://commandoclub.net/groups/3rd-coy-1998-2001/forum/ it comes up with an error. same with http://commandoclub.net/forums/
I checked my db table and there are tables mentioned in http://buddypress.org/community/groups/how-to-and-troubleshooting/forum/topic/one-click-forum-bbpress-install-did-not-created-bbpress-table/#post-28449 are missing,
I have tried to do clean installations 3 times now, it is not working… What do i do now??
I wish that someone can pls help me, I would even pay to get this done, not a lot, $50 for this forum fix…
