Hi,
I am using buddypress to create a closed community discussion forum. While registering, the information provided by the users is sensitive and I need to pass the information via SSL.
I have used the WordPress HTTPS plugin to force the administration of the site & the login form via https. However, I also need the user registration & profile editing page to be passed securely. I am forcing https by targetting the urls via my .htacess file.
Is there a cleaner way for this –
A plugin that I can use to specify the registration page, settings page for editing user information via https. I am new to wordpress – does it even make sense to write a plugin for this?
Thanks,
