BuddyPress

Some of my users are getting activation errors when they click on the activation link that is emailed to them. They get the error “there was an error activating your account, please try again”.
Help!

Also, in this kind of situation, where someone went through paypal to register, is there a way to manually activate them? It only appears to be happening to a few users.

BuddyPress doesn’t offer native PayPal support.

You might need to contact the developers of the 3rd-party plugin you’re using to make sure it’s compatible with BuddyPress.

it is. Either way its only happening to 2 users. I know that activation key errors are occurring. What has been the fix or work-a-round?

Is there any fix yet, workaround for this error? our users also report getting this error, (we do not use paypal etc)
we use WPMU 2.9.2 and BP1.2.3

their accounts are activated, but the screen displays this error message, and it confuses them!
