BuddyPress

I got my BuddyPress set up with the newest version of WP. I’m using the sliding door template with the BP template pack. The problem is that for pretty much every thing on the page the links are broken. Even to pages and posts I have added. The other question is should BP set up forum pages, profile pages, registration pages, groups etc when the plug ins or added or do I have to go in and create these things myself? If so could you direct me where to find a guide for that? Thank you.

Please check the permalinks settings: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks – I prefer day and name.

In terms of forums, there is a modified bbPress available if you enable this under the BuddyPress settings. Registration page is /register – and can only be seen if you are not logged into the site. Groups must be created. The rest is probably answered in the codex – or you can ask here.
