    Well, I see 3.1 is out – will I kill my BP site when I upgrade? Which plugins will break? Who is the crazy dog who does test this on his live site? :)

    I would not upgrade on a live site until you get an official statement from the BP dev team.

    No, don’t do that. The developers are aware of this and the 1.2.8 fix is out.
