Problem with Buddypress theme & avatars on sub-blogs

    I’m using 3.0 with 1.2.4.1, the install went fine and I can create blogs, groups, forum entries etc. I have it set to create blogs as sub-directories.
    I have a problem when using buddypress Themes on these sub-directory blogs (i.e. not the top level blog) – if I click Blogs or Groups, I get Page Not Found… These themes work fine on the top level blog
    I tried setting BP_ENABLE_MULTIBLOG and the links work better, but group avatars disappear

    Thanks for any suggestions…
