    Hi,

    when a new user signs up to my Buddypress site, on success they get taken to a page where it displays the message
    “Sign Up Complete!

    You have successfully created your account! To begin using this site you will need to activate your account via the email we have just sent to your address.”

    However, users are not getting any mail. My server has a running SMTP and POP mail server and I am able to send and receive mails through my domain.

    Where do I find the settings to check this?

    Also note – I have ‘Login with Ajax’ plugin installed.

    I’m having exactly the same problem: users are not getting any mail.
    I don’t have “login with ajax” plugin install but only “bp user profile map”.

    I’m gonna try with a fresh installation on a different domain name…

    If only this forum were more active… I’m surprised, it seems not that many people are interested in BuddyPress, too bad for us who LIKE it.
