I want to give our community members the chance to blog, but do so nicely integrated into the general BP experience. i.e. when someone arrives at the site every day and sees the “What’s new?” message, they can choose to write to (a) their profile, (b) groups, or (c) their blog.

Are there are plug-ins that enable “easy, integrated blogging”? I don’t want our users to have to be exposed to the full WP experience, its “too much”, just an easy way to keep a weblog, nice to have the ability to add photos though

Also, can photos be added to group entries or is it strictly text?

I’m completely new to BP (obviously) so please forgive the newbie nature of the questions ….
