I have a custom theme, and I’m having trouble making the layout look right.
    I’m a newbie to BP

All the links and pages work fine.
I just don’t get the “tweaking it to fit your theme” part.
When I go to a BP page… all the info is pushed to the left and its about 300px width.

I’ve tried using this, but I need more documentation maybe?

    http://codex.buddypress.org/theme-development/wordpress-to-buddypress-theme/

I dont even know where to go from here.
Ive reached out to different webdesigners and programmers, and they wont touch it.

Can someone help me out? or point me in the right direction!?

First of all, what theme are you trying to make compatible with BuddyPress?

Did you install and activate the BP Template Pack?

    Site URL?

The best thing you can do is to use firefox addon firebug which will easily find you all css classes and their properties in your theme and you can edit them and live preview them and finally change them with your text editor, you don’t need any documentation at all, just play with it, if you are lost send me here the link and I will try to help you.
