    my company is wanting to setup something like a facebook for internal communications, with possible file sharing. I was just wondering if there was expected features like a photo album uploads.

    Keep an eye on the latest builds of the BP Album+ plugin:

    It’s progressing quite nicely. Keep in mind that these builds are development versions suited for test installs, rather than production environments.

    The stable version is good as well, but lacks many features that the nightly builds have.

    hmm might need to download the nightly because 1.7 doesn’t work with WP3.0 I think. Pictures come up as missing links.
