This Version is a jump back and rewrite of 1.2.5, with many bug fixes. Because there have been to many bugs after I did change the core logic of the plugin. This version should be stable now. The next version will come with a new logic, which needs much more testing. This new system will be important for buddypress 1.3, and I will make it stable with a small testing crew. For your productive site this Version 1.3 should be the right version.

Sorry for the problems. Please check the new version. If you have lost data because of the previous version, please check your wp-admin/options.php for bp_seo_… fields. If they are still there, please let me know, and I will support you with a script, to bring your data back.

This was a terrible crash… hope the dark time is over. Thanks a lot for all the help, and not killing me.

I thought about making also a pro version of Seo for Buddypress. This all just happens, because of time problems. Working in a hurry. Now I feel, the plugin has grown up and needs to be always stable and supported properly. I want to make it part of my work, and take it out of my less hobby time.

There are many ideas to improve the plugin. We’ll see where it leads. Tell me what you think about. ;-Sven

Works great so far. Picks the %%componentname%% for groups just fine now! Brilliant piece of work.

I’ve been using it on my test site without any noticeable problems. I’m going to roll it out to my production site now. I’ll let you know if I see anything odd.

One problem I picked up. There’s no directory for “members” on general SEO settings tab on your plugin.

@Anton, ja, you are right. It was my mistake. I thought, if the friends component is deactivated, there is no members directory.
But that’s just in my fantasy… There is no way, to turn off members, for this you have to turn off buddypress , I will upload a fixed version 1.3.1 soon.

I’m having trouble with post description, it don’t seem to work. I have this in the MAIN BLOG POST field: %%excerpt%% %%category_description%% %%tag_description%% %%term_description%%

But when I go to a seo post analyzer it says I have no meta description

mm, I can’t reproduce the bug, I tested it again, but everything seems to work…
