I wrote a basic story with no ending and I am trying to sollicite help from anyone to finish it. I put together a contest and would love to be able to use WPMU+Buddypress for the purpose. Not being a tech savvy, I admit that while the core elements of the scripts have been well developped and easy to deploy, when you get into the details, it gets pretty tricky. Essentially savvy programmers behind these sophisticated scripts have not been able to bring their understanding down to the level of average folks and so interepreting scripts can be a daunting task. So I thank all of you who have been providing guidance all along.

Any idea how to change/remove the default gravatar? It shows a face with a tongue out and that wont sell!

Did anyone find a solution to failed image cropping? I have 5 buddypres powered sites and all the same problem. I am using the latest WPMU and latest BP. Thank you for any ideas. In most cases the image gets uploaded and it gets nearly impossible to capture the wanted area.
