@Flocktome thanks for posting the update! this works fine!
actually, there are more files in that dir that need changing as well
think that I found it go to
wp-content/plugins/bp-album/includes/templates/album/single.php and add “bp-content-tabs” to class=”item-list-tabs no-ajax” on lines 11 and 21, so it should be class=”item-list-tabs no-ajax bp-content-tabs” after your changesI’m having the same issue and using the same theme. Looks like the the div class for the menu should be
class=”item-list-tabs no-ajax bp-content-tabs” but it’s missing the “bp-content-tabs” portion. I’m looking through the plugin files now to see how/where to set it, but i have not found it yetany help would be great
bumping this up…a response would be appreciated

@roydeanjr i feel your pain see my post with links to several other posts that are requesting this as well
http://buddypress.org/community/groups/requests-feedback/forum/topic/true-bp-compatibility-with-multisite@Bowromir – nope not what i need…need true BP MS compatibility
@Bowromir thanks for the tip, at first glance, it doesn’t look like what i’m going for, but i’ll check it out on the site (when available again)
@techguy trying to round up the troops now and hopefully there will be enough interest
@hnla the goal is not to continually post on a topic or subject. I started a project with the assumption that this was doable with buddypress and multisite, so a lot of my initial posts were to find answers to try and solve issues, now it’s obvious that this isn’t possible and thus the post in the “requests and feedback” group. I would imagine as with any dev group, the most requested feature would be the next priority, and it seems a few people have been requesting this feature for a while
@jeffsayre – thanks Jeff
Ok, I’ve found several threads on this feature ranging from inquiries to requests and everything in between…

http://buddypress.org/community/groups/how-to-and-troubleshooting/forum/topic/can-you-multi-site-buddypress/it looks like this may be slated for BP 1.3 which is scheduled for a Jan 1 release. Can anyone confirm that this feature will be available in BP 1.3?
@sammermpc please let me know if you find out something as well
so will this definitely be available in 1.3?
yes, i posted this in trouble shooting when i thought that it was actually possible to accomplish this with BP and WPMS…since then it’s become apparent that it’s not possible and thus my post yesterday in “Requests and Feedback”…my assumption is that request and feedback are used for the development scope of future builds and that this how to and trouble shooting are used for help related issues…if this is not the case, then my apologies…otherwise I would appreciate it if you unlock the requests and feedback post (unless this item is on the dev schedule already) so that others that want this feature would be able to comment as well
@sammermpc please post the other links when you get a chance
it seems like the themes are not visible to other sites in the network and the headers are not adaptable
i got it working with the .htaccess file change (was missing a dir in the redirect)…moved the bp blog root back to the main site as well
bump…i would like to know the answer to this as well
that didn’t work…i actually have buddypress running off a subblog and had the base URL set to http://ourplink.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/11/files/album which works for the album but for some reason in the activity the pics still reference the bad virtual machine url
