It is not yet finished so keep you eye on it to see future updates.

LinkedIn will be in soon, we are already building the extension for it
But i cannot give any date because it still is in early development.

Like the name says 0.6Beta is a beta, only the 0.52 is in the wordpress repository.
We cannot support alle beta plugins as they are in “Beta”.

However i am going to see what is causing the problem in the 0.6Beta and see if i can provide a solid fix.

Everybody, just to give some info about there specification.

BuddyStream Goliath php version will be unchanged so if the current version of BuddyStream works i can assure you that Goliath will work to.

BuddyStream Goliath will also work with the latest versions of BuddyPress and WordPress.

Cronjobs are still required, but we are launching a cronservice for the plugin to make verything a lot easier!
For the Premium version cronservice will be free.

@Rocko88 please check out our website on 1 may so you can see what BuddyStream does. I think you have to look to some other plugins to with other functionality.

In the admin you can turn off the option: Allow users to sync to BuddyPress?
Just like facestream had that option

If the key is in the field it should work, you can test it out by linking your flickr username to the profile.

@Travel-Junkie, in the past the plugin was open to WP cron. Only sites hanged because the import is a heavy process so the user that fired the cron had to wait for a minute or longer, they did not do that but just closed the browser and then the import was interrupted. Thats why we had to make the choice to remove the WP cron functionality from the plugin.

We are now working on a cron service so user can use crons but on one of our servers.
Just working out a good model for it (free,basic,advanced packages).

Suzanne, you are right on that one we are looking how the privacy settings on facebook works so we can see how we can import the best way without making the users angry
