    Jeff

    An example on my site

    http://www.lovehatemedia.com

if you click on the “test” post it asks you for a password before you can view the post

whereas when i do this on my buddypress site it wont even show the post, not in site activity or in the authors blog section of their profile or anywhere on the site…

The way it works on my other wordpress sites is that the password protected posts still appear on the site and in the heirachy of posts but when you click it it asks for a password before you see the rest of the information.

Ive done this with my buddypress site and password protected posts dont appear, not even in the members members blog page?

    Apologies John.

I did sort it out…because the title was 2+2= the slug ended up being 22 which i think wordpress thought was a date/time etc because i did another few test blogs afterward and they all worked fine

Just had this email from Aksimet

    Hi Michael,

I just heard back from our network staff.

Evidently there was a problem about 24 hours ago that affected some OpenDNS users in the UK – presumably this includes your hosting provider. Some locations were unable to resolve domains hosted on certain DNS servers, which included Akismet (and some other sites). We know the problem was at OpenDNS and confined to the UK, but we haven’t received an explanation from them as to what happened.

Whatever it was, it seems to be fixed now.

Please let me know if you’re still experiencing problems and we’ll take a fresh look.

    Kind regards,

    Alex.”

When i put my API key in it says

The key you entered could not be verified because a connection to akismet.com could not be established. Please check your server configuration.

    and

my stats page looks like this
