Got it working following advice in the above thread to change my .htaccess file to allocate more memory: ### Set PHP directives ### php_value memory_limit 96M I used 60M instead of 96M and the plugin activated. 30M did not work. HI all, I just installed the latest Buddypress (1.2.6) in a fresh install of WP (3.0.3) and the plugin will not activate, in fact, it takes Wordpress down with it until I change the plugin directory name to deactivate it.
