Thanks, rich. I thought it was fixed it in previous updates but it was something different regarding last_activity.
I have a similar situation with the other site – bbpress 1.2.5, wordpress 3.0.1 – activity reply does not update group last activity. Did you experience the same?
@linusf one modification – to make Ajax work, the line 191 should be
`echowp_generate_tag_cloud( gtags_make_tags(), $gtags_args )
Very easy – in bg-group-tags.php:
CHANGE LINE 191 to:
echo wp_generate_tag_cloud( gtags_make_tags(), $gtags_args );
REMOVE LINE 192
I installed “BuddyPress Forums Extras – Signature” and “BuddyPress Rate Forum Posts”.
We can have a group set up here – not a big deal, but I think admins should set some rules… it would be very useful, I am sure!
@prerna I recommend you a wordpress redirection plugin – it also counts redirects etc.
What if we use Elance or something similar. It is all about the idea – I’m sure that a transaction platform is not a problem. It is more important how do we organise ourselves to request certain demands and find developers to build plugins.
UPDATE: For example I need to have a Buddypress Maps plugin working and need some plugin with extended fields for groups (it won’t be difficult to rewrite the Group Tags plugin).
Very useful plugin. Thanks for it. How to make the activity replies visible as a default?
UPDATE: Problem solved – just had to remove display:none.
UPDATE 2: But then I need to click twice to hide it because buddypress thinks it is closed as default… How to solve it?
Is there anybody who will fix it for $$$?
I have the same problem and I am still looking for somebody to fix it… even for cash..
Thanks a lot – it helped me somewhere else. So simple!
I still have “Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /wp-content/plugins/buddypress-maps/bp-maps-templatetags.php on line 210″
@Madmax – your fix works for me. It is weird because on 1.2.1 uploading avatars worked fine.
@DJPaul – I also though about Slicehost as Buddypress is a bit slow on hostgator (single blog). What do you need to configure on Slicehost to move on? Is Apache, PHP, MySQL out of the box? Do you have to be PRO to manage such server to protect your site from hackers and stuff like that? I have experience in managing Linux servers but very basic.
I have this problem too. Similar with notification for messages.
