I’m having trouble with tweetstream, i know you’ve been in touch with the dev and wondered if you’ve experienced the authorisation issue where you go to this url http://twitter.com/oauth/authorize?oauth_token= , and obv it doesnt work. The times I have had trouble with this error is when Twitter is having problems with oauth. I would try completely uninstalling the plugin… reinstall current version and activate it. In addition, make sure your consumer key and secret key are correct…perhaps get new ones.

@blackphantom Hi Peter, I think someone has already contacted you about a similar issue with tweetstream, but when my users click to authorize the url is http://twitter.com/oauth/authorize?oauth_token= and so the token is not working. Do you have any idea on how I can fix this? I’m using WPMU 2.9 and BP 1.2.4. Cheers

its a known problem an i hope to fix it soon, twitter is going to come with a new API so i hope i can use that to fix the problem

Has anyone managed to get this working? I’m using Dave Aubins modified version of Bp-events which does work really well. But When I invite people, firstly the Ajax doesnt work, a -1 appears. Then the people don’t get an email inviting them, they also don’t get a notification. I’ve had a look in the MySQL [...]

This plugin does work, if you use Dave Aubins latest update version.
It doesnt work in full though. I can’t get the notifications / invites to work, has anyone else managed to get them to work? -

@dfa327 yeah i invite a bunch of people and they don’t get any emails, and the notifications at the top doesnt show up either. I’ve had a look at the code and it’s very similar to the groups invitations which work fine but i cant pin point the problem.

@Troy EventPress at a minimum requires WordPress 3.0 — the whole functionality and UI is built around Custom Post Types introduced in WP 3.
