    Hi Boone,

I had to disable buddyepress as we need to allow users to register (upcoming event).

I cloned the site here http://www.test.irishnetworkboston.net/home2/.

Buddypress is enabled on the cloned site.

Thanks Shane. I deactivated and reactivated all plugins and that resolved the issue. Problem is I can’t tell which one caused it, as they are all reactivated and the problem no longer exists.
    Anyways, appreciate the help!

    Hi Shane,

Group forums. It appears i can create topics through the wp admin page, but no-one can reply through the front-end.

I probably should have started in bbPress support; but last time i posted similar topics on both places, i was charged with “cross-posting”.

    Appreciate the help.

@danbp. I followed your instructions in the thread you closed, and confirmed the same in codex. It does not change anything. I still cannot get a forum to show unless it is public. Please advise.

Actually, it won’t even show if i make the forum private. The forum has to be public for me to see it.

    Hi @caniwigirl

Yes, i tried it from the back-end. The only way I can get a forum to display with a group is if I make the forum public. It will not work for either private or hidden :(.

I am finding if i add a public/private forum to a group it will work fine. If i change the forum status to hidden it is no longer available to the group. If i set the forum back to private/public, it is still not part of the forum. The only way I can assign a forum to this group is to create a new one. Less than ideal.

I am having the exact same issue. BP 1.9.2. xProfiles seemed to be working, but now I’m getting to a blank groups page similar to other users. I have removed BuddyPress and re-added, but no fix. This has totally hosed my site. How can I get it fixed?

Thanks @mercime. I enabled permalinks and modified the web.config so am past that hurdle.
