This issue has been resolved. It happened to be a well documented issue with my theme that the developer has taken care of for me…

    Thanks!!

Hi again, and sorry for the hassle. I am using Mingle Theme for Buddypress. Mingle allows for two menus (right and left). I have currently set the logout button to the right menu (and to be visible only when users are logged in). I guess what I´m wondering is if there is a way of actually setting the redirection function from within the menu (in the button, in the classes or in the link code).

    Thanks again for your time.

    Erik.

Hi and thanks for your reply. Would you mind explaining where exactly I need to insert that code, and also, if, for instance, my home page is: http://www.canarias2nite.com , where in the code provided would I insert the url?

Excuse my complete lack of coding skills, I just wish I knew better..

    Best,

    Erik.

That absolutely did the trick!! Awesome. THANKS!!!

Hi. No, this did not happen after upgrade. I just can´t figure out what I did that could cause this issue. I just don´t have a clue what might have caused the problem… Just hope it doesn´t happen again…

    Best,

    Erik.

Hi. Maybe I didn´t explain properly. When users log in, they see the wordpress logo to the left and an access to the blog´s (subscriber)dashboard. I want to completely eliminate the references to WordPress in the left of the adminbar, but retain the Buddybar in the right..

    make sense?

    Thanks!!

Well, I went ahead and erased the “registration” page Buddypress created upon install. I created a new page (same name) and linked it from the Buddypress settings page. It´s working fine now..!!

This is weird, I just hope it won´t happen again. i just wonder what could cause that…

Thanks anyhow for the help and the time.

    best,

    Erik.

H again. No, no edits. It just suddenly stopped working. If I swith to the regular Buddypress theme it woks fine, but once I switch back to my current theme (Mingle) the registration process goes south… Funny thing is that registration was working ok with Mingle an hour ago…!!

Hi again. I did as you stated, but that isn´t working, the WordPress adminbar is still there…Thanks again.

    Erik.

Hi, thanks for your kind reply. I appreciate, but that completely removes the adminbar (including the Buddybar). I want to remove the WORDPRESS admin bar alone from non admins, but NEVER the Buddypress adminbar, which I want to have visible at all times…..

    Possible?

    Thanks!

I understand, thanks for your kind reply, will do so…

    Best.

Thanks guys for your time and the replies. I have contacted the developer through the suggested forum.

    Best,

    ERik.

@travel-junkie , I have been using (and loving) your BP Xtra Signup plugin for a while on a single site installation. I just installed it on a multisite web, and I am just not being able to see it in the control pannel, it simply doesn´t show. I was wondering if there is any workaround to this since this is one plugin I donñt want to give up.

If this is possible,I would appreciate a detailed explanation, considering my coding skills are near to ZERO.

Thanks in advance for your kind reply.

    Best,

    Erik.

Thanks guys for your kind replies. @rogercoathup, will your plugin allow users to create several galleries? And will users be able to tag other users (their buddies) on photos not their own?

    Thanks again.

I understand, thanks for your reply. Is there any gallery plugin that you know of that will allow the tagging of the pictures by the members?

    Thanks.

Hi, I am still seeking some help to solve this issue. I just haven´t been able to find a solution for this one and the plugin developer isn´t responding to my mails… Anybody?

    Thanks!!

Hi. The translation is already in the plugin´s language folder. The problem is that it wasn´t working, and it didn´t start working is spanish until I moved them to the Wp languages folder (in wp-content). Only then did the spanish translation start working. Even when the spanish is displayed now in the privacy settings, the particular items mentioned are STILL in english..

    Any clues?

    Thanks!!

HI. Thanks for your help. I did ALL the things you suggested in your message and that particular string was still in english… I finally found it, you were right, it was in the theme/members/single/delete-account.php location. There seems to be a problem there because this file is not affected by the translated file. I finally did the language changes manually and it worked…

Thanks again for al the help.

The messages I am having trouble with are:

“WARNING: Deleting your account will completely remove ALL content associated with it. There is no way back, please be careful with this option.”

” I understand the consequences of deleting my account.” (the message besides the checkbox)

and the “Delete my account” button message.

All the rest of the Buddypress installation is in Spanish already, I just can´t get rid of these three items in english..

    Thanks.

    Erik.

OK. I located the “delete-account.php” file in my template pack (//wp-content/plugins/bp-template-pack/templates/members/single/settings/delete-account.php). The phrases causing the issue are there. I have changed them into spanish, but when attempting to delete my account, the message IS STILL IN ENGLISH!!! For the life of me that I just don´t know what else to look for.. Any help would be most appreciated.

    Thanks!!

I see what you mean. But I checked the template pack’s pot. File and tge english phrases causing the issue are not there… Where should I look for them?

    Thanks

Hi. I am using a custom theme…. I am using a template pack for my (Elegantthemes) WordPress theme.
