hi @imath – unfortunately due to deadlines i won’t be able to try this out. sounds like @alice-claire has tried it tho.

we’ll just have to go it without buddypress for now.

    thanks tho! 🙂

@imath ah ok. Makes sense. Thanks for informing invite anyone dev.

Will this thread be updated with a fix for the other issue for settings saving register/activate pages?

I appreciate your time, work and quick responses. 🙂

    Hello,

Yes I had already tried changing theme and deactivating all plugins before I posted.

    But.. I see you’ve reproduced. 🙂

I also noticed (after I downgraded to previous version) that even with registration disabled I was able to load register page. Then I upgraded BP again and it was still a case.

    Thank you for your help,
    Gina

I went back to Version 2.1.1 and it works now. I guess I will keep an eye on this fix and upgrade once it is fixed.

    Thanks. 🙂

Weird! That does work! Thanks Rhoward!! I switched settings to “Both sites and user accounts can be registered.” and it will save the settings. But if I change back to “Logged in users may register new sites.” the settings are no longer saved. :/

Thank you SO much for the quick response..

    WP Version 4.1
    Multisite
It is network activated on the main site
I have the invite anyone plugin installed so it is set to “Logged in users may register new sites.”
    WP Super Cache

It is the weirdest thing because it was just working the other day… :/
