My WP installation is on main root.
Here whats on the htaccess file
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
    # uploaded ?les
    RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)??les/(.+) wp-includes/ms-?les.php??le=$2 [L]
    # add a trailing slash to /wp-admin

    RewriteRule ^([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?(.*\.php)$ $2 [L]
    RewriteRule . index.php [L]

    Buddypress is network activated.
I might be having another issue with my installation because the user I have created are beying saved in the database because I cant use either their username or email but when I go to users and sites on the network dashboard the users are not beying created.

I deactivated Buddypress and the wp-signup.php is not working either. Need to find somebody to verify this in a more deeper way.

I did those steps you told me to do and still it doesn’t work. I dont know if the membership plugin(Magic Member)I have is interfering with the process because one of the features it says “Disable registration email if BuddyPress is enabled?” So right now I dont know what else to do actually?

    Thanks for the support

Thanks for your reply on this post. But actually I didn’t do anything else but to upgrade the version from 1.7 to 1.7.2. Any suggestion on what I should try? I tried to find something to downgrade the version but no success on that.

    Thanks for the support

    Thanks @mercime for the reply

When I first installed buddypress I installed on the main site before I made my site an multisite. Now is activated on the whole network. I will proceed to upgrade and see if it works. But I don’t know if it will because like I said on the first post I did a new installation of wordpress and buddypress on a sub-domain with WP 3.5.1 and BuddyPress 1.6.5 on it and I still receive the same message.

    Thanks for the support

Thanks @chouf1 for your reply but this didn’t fix the problem.
I have search all around the web and I’ve seen that many people has have this same issue with buddypress. I read something about the corruption of the tables in the database and that I needed to fix o repair this file table “wp_usermeta”. I also did this and nothing happened.

    Thanks
