Thanks, removing the www prefix to my domain name in Settings, General did the trick.

Hi Guys. As a test I now installed a fresh copy of BuddyPress plus bbPress on a different domain and I have the exact same problem there. This time I did not run the Group Forum installation. Hope this helps. Please let me know. I’m desperate to get this working.

    Thanks,
    Justin.

Hi Guys. Is there anything else you can think of? Thanks for the help so far.

Quick update. The ‘Forums’ link I clicked on was a custom menu. After deleting the custom menu, Forums does not show in the menu at all. When navigating to ‘Settings, Forums’ I still get the ‘Possible BuddyPress conflict: Forums page’ message. I hope this makes sense.

    Hi Mecrime

I deleted the bb-config.php as suggested. Now however when I click on ‘Forums’ I get taken to the profile page of the logged in user. I tried to also unsinstall the bbPress plugin and reinsstalled and created a new forum but the problem persists. Let me know if I could allow you in to have a look at it.

    Thanks,
    Justin.

Hi Paul. In the BuddyPress menu, I clicked on ‘Uninstall Group Forums’. However, this process doesn’t seem to work. When I log out and back in again, I again have the option to uninstall. This confirms my suspicion that it’s in fact not being uninstalled. Any ideas?
