Hi, I just found out that the Wire component is working fine for Groups, but not for user profiles. It beats me what the problem is because the Wire component is working perfectly fine on http://testbp.org/ If anyone has any idea about what’s wrong, please do help.
It seems I am having the same problem. I am testing Buddypress for a new project of mine here: http://demockeracy.in/. When I am logged into my profile (http://demockerat.demockeracy.in/) and type something into the Wire box and say ‘Post’, the page refreshes, but the Wire does not get updated. It just says ‘There are currently no wire posts.’
Oops! My mistake. I didn’t follow Step 2 of the installation process which stated that all the tagged components are supposed to be installed. That was why I was was getting that error.
