i think it has a problem with caching and with the cookies of your browser. Not so sure but why not try to log out then clear your cookies. If nothing will change maybe other members will help..^^

there is already plugin that doing this sort of coding..its nice to have this manually for those advance users but I highly recommend the plugin Bp Comments collapse/expand By TimothyJunior just search for it..
oh my we have the same problem..I just wonder if there is anyone who could have an idea on how to code that it will display below the activity that you will want to reply with.. or is there a plugin that can disable the reply button and change it to comment
