    bugger, this has just started happening for me too. I have even manually created the folder it says it cant create, and still it gives the error.

    All folders above it are 777.

    This would be a great plugin. Anyone created it? Especially useful for getting people to enter location details for mapping.

    we run memchahce and eaccelrator,and w3tc and , though we are in dev, it seems to work ok.

    Then initial get takes ages (lots of plugins, and not sure which are the worst), and so I have a cron that runs every minute that gets the /forums/ page. I THINK this helps, as I assume it would be caching stuff so any user hitting the page will always get some cached objects etc…

    At least that’s my theory.

    What a stupid question. Try a 3.1 install perhaps.

    In that article, they recommended DB cache to be off, yet you have it on. Why?

    ok, good to know.

    So exactly what does database caching do? I know it sounds obvious, but what things are cached and what is left purely dynamic? Is it only for logged in or out users? Or both?

    Sorry for being vague, but again, it would be great if there was a definitive doc on this (being WT3 and BP).

    MIhgt be a dumb question, but can someone explain please what relative benefits are between object aching and database caching? What are the downsides too?

    We use eAccelerator on our server.

    Thanks for the module, when i try and add a post client side, it does nothing. What have I missed please?

    I ceated a “classifieds” page and put the following into the html:

    [oqp_form “yclads”]
    [oqp_form “default-form”]
    [oqp_form “my-custom-form”]

    Is this not right?

    WP3.1, BP 1.2.8

    That would be great. BP.org should be a flagship IMHO.

    SEO press does work, but make sure you don’t have any other SEO plugins enabled/installed as I found it conflicted and broke.

    There is a new version of SEOPress coming soon.

    This does my head in.

    The community would be sooo much more active if this actually worked.

    ok, it wasn’t it.

    It’s either a plugin, or my template for some reason……

    I think that was it.

    Have moved them (most) to the footer instead.

    Thanks Paul.

    @nanchante

    Thanks a lot. I plan to not add them in via wp, but manually use our inhouse combine script which gzips and minifies at the same time.

    Thanks again. Will let you now how it goes.

    @nanchante

    @imjscn: that looks great. I would actually be using a custom combine script, that I would place outside of the Wp functions. ie hard code the combine in either header or footer.

    I assume then that I would only need to deregister css and js, and not do the enqueue bit. Is this right?

    if so, what would the amended snippet look like please?
