I have this as well after upgrading from BP 1.2rare to the latest.

We have a custom theme installed and moved it to the plugins/buddypress/bp-themes folder but it gives the same error.

I noticed the new buddypress plugin doesnt have this function in its code anywhere from what I can see.

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this error after upgrading?

The admin email is the same as the domain name/URL already, I even went into the database to double check.

What you are saying is if the admin email ” This address is used for admin purposes, like new user notification.” after the @example.com doesn’t match the site URL like http://example.com it wont work right?

I believe we even installed from day one like that so I am not sure if that will help. I have a feeling I may need to try upgrading both WP and BP to figure this one out.

So is there a way to get the “welcome” or confirmation emails working WITHOUT WPMU?

I have an install running BP Version 1.2-rare & WP2.9.1

Thanks Symm2112 buddydev looks to be produced in India but does somewhat of what we need and quite possibly could fast track some dev.

    Thanks!

I looked at Kaltura but I’m not interested in using a 3rd party for storage etc. Thanks though!

I agree and will be either hiring a developer to do just this or integrating some existing scripts with buddy press for this.

We need a social network per say with video upload & conversion ability. If anyone is interested in either developing this please let me know.

This seemed like it but didn’t really help. I’m not sure where these templates are, I tried just about everything in the parent folder as well and can not get these (settings) pages cleaned up.
