    i have this issue on my newest DarkPress 2 theme: http://www.buddydress.com/2009/08/darkpress-2-now-compatible-with-firefox-3-5/

    the cropping works fine with IE, but it sucks with Firefox.

    i’ve tried to put at the top of the page the get_header code, but it is considered a call to undefined function too…

    hi airblastor, i can reply about facebuddy.

    you must activate the home theme in order to view it.

    for the member theme…go in the admin panel:buddypress and be sure to select it from the menu.

    be sure you’ve downloaded the facebuddy version that suits your BP release

    the Shouty Theme has a profile page with horizontal bars: http://www.buddydress.com/2009/04/shouty-theme/

    i haven’t tested it with the 1.0 release, but it worked fine with the Rc2.

    You can see some profile examples here:

    thanx Danstinebaugh.

    The BuddyDress themes are all free, but let me the time to upgrade them to the 1.0 bp version.

    The problem with IE (i presume you are speaking about the resizing window) is common to every bp theme, even the default one. I think that the issue is hidden in one of the “minor” css, and it’s hard to find where is the bug. I’ve modified the main css’s, and i don’t think that they are the cause of the problem. Solving that will be great!

    @Wildchild: i have a subdirectory installation. I’ve never had problem with manual upgrade of wpmu (i usually remove and update all the folders except the config file). But with this new update something was strange: for example the configuration was set from subdirectories to subdomains…and it is not normal (i’ve done a lot of upgradeds until today, always with success). I received 404 for blog pages, members, groups…and problems in the admin login too. I’ve erased the installation, the db, and started from scratch and it works fine.

    But my problem is WMPU related and not a BP issue.

    thanx Andy. It seems solved: the problem it is not bp related, but related to the upgrade of wpmu. I’ve restarted with a fresh installation and seems to work fine.

    i’ve the same issue: only the home page is displayed, but members, groups, profile pages…everything leads to a 404. I’m testing it locally with XAMPP.

    I’ve made a manual upgrade, and i’m using default themes both for home and profiles.

    this is the path of the theme i’m using: wp-content bp-themes bpmember

    note: i’ve tried the solutions posted here: https://buddypress.org/forums/topic.php?id=2457 with no success

    note: i’m running the wpmu 2.71 zip (downloaded 1 hour ago)

    are you sure to have selected the right bp theme (previously called member theme) too? can i take a look on your website?

    @sgrunt

    really thanx Burt. Please Stu-art, try to overwrite your functions.php with the default functions.php of buddy press. I’ve just reuploaded the file, maybe it was corrucpted while zipping or uploading.

    i see html and css of the default theme too. Profile members are correct, the only thing it is that they are left aligned and not center aligned. in your screenshot there is no css attached, maybe you have some browser setting that ignore css?

    i’m a bit confused: with ff it’all ok. using explorer i see a big red Alice header (Alice is an italian telecom company) and the layout is messed up. It could be my browser’s fault, but i’ve never had this issue with other sites.

    hi, using ie7 i have some problems: there is no enough space for the columns and so i see the “welcome” column under the other two.

    However, why are you using the Alice header?

    hi Xmike.

    My website has got the following ip address: 217.64.195.216

    i\\\\\\\’ve noticed that sometimes avast show a virus or similar when visiting my site, and it comes from a different ip address. That ip is http://89.149.194.45/script/in.cgi?2

    it\\\\\\\’s hard to understand where is the problem: in BuddyDress i have the following external components: google analytics, google ad sense. The wp plugins that i use are the wordpress download monitor, wp-contact form, wp-postratings,wp-postviews.

    I\\\\\\\’ll write to my host to better understand if they have a problem, thanx!

    the \”registered\” bug it is not eternal..i don\’t remember well, but after one day since registration the date should be automatically corrected, it is such a magical thing.

    For the scheduled posts, yes it\’s a pain. They don\’t appear in the site activity too: it only takes the manually published ones.

    open the base.css in the css folder and specify what is your preferred font family in the html tag.

    example:

    html {

    font: 62.5% normal “Lucida Grande”, “Lucida Sans Unicode”, “Lucida Sans”, Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;

    }
