| WordPress Origin Story | A long time ago I was getting fed up with having to be limited to just HTML and CSS, my life in web development felt it was coming to an end. Then one day I was talking to a professor of mine at college (yeah, had to find out that way) and he told me that there was a self-hosted version of WordPress that acted more like a template style site and not just a blog. So, I did what most people probably do – installed it and started playing around with it. Sadly I didn’t take the time to READ anything and I started crashing my new WordPress site over and over. Finally I stopped playing with it and did a bunch of reading. 5 years later, I don’t even offer my clients anything but a WordPress site. Thanks. |
