| WordPress Origin Story | Long time ago (around 2007, to be exact), discovered a new way of creating websites — WordPress. Coincidentally, had created a similar content management system in-house since 2004 which had been lovingly coined, the “Viadat Infrastruct”, for client websites, so the logic behind WordPress and its active development made it an easy platform to join. Fast-forward to 2008 — joined a project for an fast-growing health food product for an NFL Football player, created the very first store locator on WordPress specifically for the product’s website, then noticed that WordPress had no store locator plugins, and jumped right into plugin development with our flagship creation, LotsOfLocales — WordPress Store Locator. |
