@mercime this was a fresh install, because I had problems after upgrading to WP 3.4.1 so I decided to start afresh. It is a single install. The only thing I did was import my backed up database, if that’s any help.

Done all the usual deactivating and reactivating. It is also still happening in default theme.

Sitewide forums are not activated. WP 3.4.1. BP 1.6.1.

Yes, it hits me in the face too. My users post to the activity stream all the time. I have my groups page as the default static page for my site. When users click on the groups they are presented with the default home page and the what’s new box, so post in that. Don’t get me wrong, replies can be added. But I think it would be much nicer if users were directed to the forum page instead. There are instructions within the support forum for making the forum page the default landing page for groups, but none of them work for me.

I found BP Gallery produces an “internet explorer cannot display the page” error when trying to enter groups since upgrading to 1.6.1

Sorry guys, I must be incredibly thick, so I’m giving up on trying to get this to happen for me. I can’t get any of the above solutions to work so might just try to remove the what’s new box on the home page instead.

I am sick of banging my head against a brick wall to get this to happen. Even to the point of beginning to wish I’d never opted to use this for my site at all.

I’m using WP 3.4.1 and BP 1.5.6. I cannnot get this to work. It’s all I need now to get my site working as I’d like. Please can someone help?

I am using 2011 theme. I don’t think the 3 groups on the page are of particular relevance. It’s just the fact that the posts show on the activity and group home pages, but if it is a long post you can’t read it all. One post that I put on from my admin account has [read more] as a link to see the rest of the post. All the others have […] including another one from my admin account posted today. I just wondered if anyone else has had this problem. You can see at http://justcatchat.com if that helps.

I do apologise. I am referring to a groups page with 3 groups set up on it.
WP 3.3.1, BP 1.5.5, Theme is 2011, other plugins activated are:bbPress, BP gallery, BP template pack. System is windows.
