Btw, you didn’t say what theme you were using. Did you try activating BP Default theme first to check out if issue was corrected there?

I need to create dependent field in buddypress registration form like below:

Category(Type:Select)
* Artist
* Designer
* Other

SubCategory(Type:Select) dependent on above category field:

for Artist: ->dancer
->singer
->musician

Designer: ->photography
->decoration

subcatgory value dependent on Category value..

can any one guide me right path to do this.

Using xProfiles ACL for my WordPress-BuddyPress site. I have restricted the ‘Subscriber’ role access to only the ‘Base’ profile group. The strange thing is that the subscribes are limited to the ‘Base’ profile group even if they want to see their own profile! They cannot even edit their profile more than the ‘Base’ group.

Anybody, pls suggest me at least (may be) a hack which may eliminate the plugin’s effect while a user is working on his/her own profile.
