Activity-List not updating correctly

    It’s more of a question, than a bug-report… Is anybody experiencing that as well:

    Sometimes the activity-lists do not update correctly… Sometimes I or my friends did something, but the activity-streams do not update (mostly with comments or blog-entries). To me, it doesn’t really follow a pattern.

    Could that be a server-problem? Is there a bug (didn’t find it in the trac)?

    Sitewide-activity seems to work fine (that does call other functions, right?).

    Any ideas?

    If the blog is set to ‘Private’ activity will not be recorded for that blog.

    I’m experiencing the same issue with the activity list with some members, even sometimes its being deleted! or being updated after a while?

    Yes, it’s not the blog-privacy issue (although if a blog was private and afterwards set to public I have experienced, that it didn’t really change the way it should…).


    @sdq80    : Yes, same for me. Sometimes it seamed, that something was deleted (i didn’t look it up in the database). I thought maybe it is a function that kicks activity out after a while…

    If you delete the item then the activity will be deleted. For example, if you post on someone’s wire, the activity will be recorded. However, if you go back and delete the post, the activity item will be removed.

    If you can find specific instances where this doesn’t seem to be working then I’ll look into it.

    yesterday suddenly all my user activities have been deleted, I’ve checked wp_user_1_activity_cached (admin user) and there is only 1 record!! I don’t know whats the issue? also note that I haven’t deleted any activity! please advice?
