Activity Permalinks on overlay

    Hello,

    Is it possible to have the ability of showing activity permalinks on overlays instead of reloading the page eveytime a new update is available. So that when a user clicks on an activity notification link, the activity and its comments shows in an overlay like on facebook..

    if that is possible can someone guide me on this?
