    Bug? Upload 11 in flash loader and activity stream shows three

    [picture] and 10 other photos
    [picture][picture][picture][picture][picture] and 6 other photos
    [picture][picture][picture][picture][picture] and 6 other photos

    [wordpress3.0+buddypress1.2.4.1+bp_album_2010-06-22]

    = 11 pictures.

    Version 0.1.9 groups images in activity stream posts to avoid flooding the stream with posts. It’s fully configurable on the admin menu. Play with it … :)

    Thank you for reply. I see the social setting. Upload 11 in bulk, shouldn’t it be either

    [picture] and 10 other photos
    -or-
    [picture][picture][picture][picture][picture] and 6 other photos

    In my first post, it will equal 33 photos total since 3 separate activity posts. Hope it’s not confusing.

    @intimez Its a lot more sophisticated than you think. It limits to a certain number of posts per day. It groups by album. If you don’t post for a while it makes a new post with less than the max number of items in it. Basically, it acts like Facebook’s activity stream.

    If you run a really small website with hardly any users, you can just set max items per post = 1, and max posts per day = 1000 and it will make a post for every single upload.

    The activity stream grouping functions are there for people with busy websites that don’t want them flooded with image posts.
