Admin bar – My Sites not quite working(?)

Using WP 3.2.1, BP 1.5

I’m curious how BP lists sights under “My Sites” in the admin bar. Creating a new site has it added to that users list, however I was hoping it would list all sites a user has author access to and higher. I’ve added myself to sites as an Admin in the network admin back end and it doesn’t add it under My Sites.

Is this a bug or can someone enlighten me?

I have the same question that “archonic” asked a few months back about how to list all the sites a user has access to under the “my sites” menu item in buddy press. I wasn’t sure from reading the posts on this if you got it resolved or not.

Can someone enlighten me?

From my experience, all you have to do is add yourself as a User on that blog.
